Boot Fittings

Why do I need an appointment?
We require appointments in order to give you the attention you deserve. This allows our boot fitters to focus solely on you, ensuring we find the perfect boot to meet your needs. Please call 970-453-7600 to make an appointment!

How long will my boot fitting take?
We set aside two hours for each boot fitting. This allows our boot fitters to take their time in evaluating your feet, finding the perfect boot, and making any other necessary adjustments.

Can I schedule two people in one appointment slot?
No, our boot fittings are very in depth and do take the full two hours for one person. You can schedule two appointments with two different boot fitters if the schedules allow.

What if I bought my boots somewhere else?
We can make adjustments to your boots no matter where you bought them. If you did not buy them with us, there is a base fee of $75 for the foot evaluation, plus any other work needed. You can check out our boot fitting prices here.

Do you fit snowboard boots?
No we do not fit snowboard boots nor do we sell snowboard equipment.

Do you offer sale boots?
Yes, we have a wide selection of previous year boots that are now on sale. We can't guarantee to have your size in every discounted boot, but our boot fitters will do their best to find you the perfect fit in your budget!

When should I buy my boots?
If you're coming into town for a visit, we suggest calling the shop a week before you arrive to make your appointment for the first few days of your trip. This will allow you to try out your new boots and use the rest of the week to make any adjustments. We want you to make the most of your vacation without worrying about your ski boots.

Why should I buy my boots at ARE?
Our boot fitters are some of the best in Colorado. They bring years of experience from all over the world to ensure you spend less time getting your boots adjusted and more time enjoying the slopes. Not only do we offer an extensive boot fitting process to guarantee your perfect fit, all other services, other than footbeds and Canting (if needed), are included with the cost of your new boot. You can make future appointments for any adjustments free of charge with boots bought at our shop. New liners, heaters, Boot Canting or custom footbeds are not included with the price of your boot.

Shipping

When do you ship?

Orders will be shipped via USPS or UPS. The expected shipping service delivery timeline is quoted at checkout and is in business days from the day the shipment leaves the facility, not from the order date.

As we are located in the high alpine resort of Breckenridge we are at the mercy of the weather and if a severe winter storm hits us this may delay shipping.
