For everyone celebrating a winter holiday this week (or last), Happy Holidays! We hope you got a reason or two to get out in the snow this week…it’s snowy and beautiful in Breckenridge and the week between Christmas and New Year’s is always a fun time to be in Summit County.

Since New Year’s Eve is coming up, we’ll pass along a tip that most skiers and snowboarders forget: New Year’s Day is a great morning to rent skis in Breckenridge and hit the slopes! Sure, New Year’s Eve is treated as the entirety of the holiday, but many of us get New Year’s Day fully or partially off, and it’s a great time to get out early and get some early runs in before the rest of the crowd is out of bed.

If you’re an early riser, or don’t plan on staying out too late on the 31st, set up a ski rental for the 1st, try out some demo skis and have the slopes nearly to yourself as you make the most of the second half of the New Year holiday!
