Our family has been purchasing Spider Ski wear from Richard owner of MAIN STREET SPORTS for many years. One day I mentioned to Richard that I have had my Technica ski boots for quite a while and am in the market for a replacement pair. Richard suggested that I should go see Chuck Ginsburg at A RACERS EDGE, that he is an excellent qualified boot fitter.
I went in to visit with Chuck, told him my needs and that I have a low volume foot, he scheduled an appointment with me and it went from there. He tried on several LV boots and settled on a Lange, the time process in fitting was remarkable. My left boot needed to be canted and the right boot needed a slight lift.
I cannot tell you how it made such a difference in my turns, I could tell day and night difference from my original boots in skiing ability.
My wife and boys have purchased ski boots from another place in town, they did not receive the precise fitting that I have with Chuck. In fact my wife has had such a problem with her boots that she has now going to Chuck and had new orthotics made. There is no comparison, if you are a difficult fit, or a normal fit there is no other place to go than to A RACER’S EDGE. I cannot tell you how wonderful of an experience I had at A RACER’S EDGE and with Chuck’s knowledge in boot fitting.

Best ski shop I have been to. Went in for a boot fitting and was set up with an amazing ski boot that I never would have considered. Christopher took time and did what no one else would have. He got me dialed in perfectly. In the end I bought the boots as well as skis and bindings. Racers Edge earned my business. They proved themselves. They are a professional operation. I was expecting to pay a little more and gladly would have. Pay more get more. But the prices was competitive. This in itself is a huge bonus. Linda checked my out at the register topping off an unbelievable pro ski shop visit.

After visiting another ski boot shop and not getting help, Tyler was able to fit us in for an appointment very last minute and went above and beyond with his service. He was able to find ski boots for me that were well within our price range, plus the boots come with heat mold. I could not recommend Tyler and this place more! Call ahead to make an appointment, and you will not be disappointed.

I went in looking for affordable boots after forgetting mine at home. I didn’t have an appointment but the employees were very understanding and helped me out! They did an excellent fitting and were very knowledgeable. They gave me several options, didn’t rush or pressure me at all, and were just overall amazing! Highly, highly recommend them! We will go to them for all things gear related from now on!

Brendan from Racer's edge was the best ski boot fitter I've ever worked with.
My old boots finally gave out and I bought new ones at my local store in Austin. I had some pain from my wide feet and told me they couldn't mold the boot any further.
I came to Racer's edge with my boots and expected to need to buy new boots. Brendan carefully took my measurements and told me my boot was fine, and he actually was able to punch it out, eliminating the pain completely. I really trust Brendan. He could've pushed me to buy a new boot and I would have, but he was able to just fix the one I had after a consultation.
While there, I knew I was in good hands so I also got custom insoles and they are amazing! 10/10 experience and will send all my friends here to get fitted.

Five stars to Chuck. His service was the kind you just don't see often these days. I purchased my Lange boots there last season. My feet are slightly different in size and while one boot was great, I had trouble with the other one. Chuck spent a few hours on a tweak and I am skiing more comfortably than I have in many, many years. Thank you, Chuck!

I scheduled an appointment on 11/17 for my first ever boot fitting! I was so lucky to get paired with Chris. He really took the time to get to know me, my feet, my skiing style, my goals, and he was very friendly.
The most impressive part is that I have a large ladies foot (size 12 wide in shoes) and he got me a ladies boot! I was convinced that I’d be walking out of there with a red and black boot that worked but didn’t fit my style. He knocked it out of the park. Chris brought out 3 boots. They all fit me! What a dream for that to have occurred. I spent some time in each boot and ended up going with a 3 piece boot. I didn’t even know that they made them like that before my appointment.
The boots fit like a glove and I don’t feel like I’m walking through mud anymore. I can’t wait to take them for a spin when we get more snow!
I can’t recommend a racers edge enough! Be sure to request Chris! He’s really good at what he does and deserves accolades for his work.

Justin did a fantastic job of analyzing my feet/ankles and fitting my ski boot. Determined my right foot/ankle pronated to the inside which explained why I could turn to the left easier than to the right. Formed footbeds and added arch support to level my right foot in the ski boot. Now my boots fit nice and snug and skiing is soo much easier!! Super knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend the Racers Edge and Justin/Chuck.
